Blake Lively is an American actress, born on August 25, 1987. She currently stars in the CW's teen drama Gossip Girl, and has also been seen in the films The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Accepted.

Blake Lively was born on August 25, 1987 in Tanzana, California, the youngest of five children. She was raised as a Southern Baptist and her parents are actors Ernie and Elaine Lively. Blake has two brothers, Jason and Eric, and two sisters, Lori and Robyn. As a child, Blake was homeschooled, and one of her homeschool classmates was actor and fellow Gossip Girl star Penn Badgely. She attended Burbank High School and originally wanted to attend Stanford University. Between her junior and senior years of high school, her brother's agent sent her on two auditions. This led to Blake landing the role of Bridget in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
